Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client in the gaming industry to hire an Accountant to support their financial operations across Singapore and overseas entities. In this role, you will ensure reporting accuracy, multi-jurisdictional compliance, and alignment with group standards to drive financial system optimizations and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic data insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish accounting standards compliant with local (Singapore) and international regulations for group entities.
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, group consolidation, and statutory filings.
- Ensure timely, accurate local and group financial reporting.
- Assist in integrating entity accounts into the HQ framework.
- Partner with IT to implement and tailor financial systems for overseas operations.
- Streamline financial processes and internal controls to drive efficiency.
- Oversee global tax filings and multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide data-driven insights and financial analysis for strategic decisions.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting; 5+ years of experience combining Big 4 auditing and in-house finance (tech/fast-paced industry experience is a plus; senior candidates considered for Senior Accountant).
- Strong knowledge of local/international GAAP and tax compliance; high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Sharp analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and a self-motivated, growth-oriented mindset.
