Position Summary / Project Description: SAP HCM Consultant (Assistant Manager)

The HRIS Assistant Lead Analyst plans, develops, and maintain HRIS and other HR-related systems, troubleshoot and resolve system related issues through system fixes or workaround, conduct training to HR staffs, and write system documentation, to ensure a smooth running of HR operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist and project manage the design, implementation and rollout of HRIS system, including developing users specifications, design, vendor selection, data migration, user acceptance testing, end user training, data migration, developing user guides, implementation, etc
  • Manage, trouble shoot and resolve data interfaces with internal/external applications/ databases and other vendor applications
  • Ensure that setup and processes in HRIS are compliant and stay relevant with prevailing manpower legislation
  • Work in close partnership with key stakeholders including HR, IT Finance and other relevant parties on system setup, configuration, testing, training and eventual go-live deployment
  • Support in charge management activities to ensure smooth transition to new system
  • Perform post-implementation support including trouble shooting, system reconfiguration and adjustments as and when required
  • Act as point person for upgrades/releases, fixes, testing and other projects as assigned Design and generate regular and ad-hoc management, statistical and analytical reports
  • Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems and at least 3 years in the HRIS end-user or vendor environment
  • Good communication skills, verbal and writing
  • Proactive in providing regular feedback to supervisor and various stakeholders * Organized and ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise and get things done
  • Sense of urgency to resolve issues and escalate accordingly
  • Experience in implementing and/ or supporting HR applications (SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle Fusion), SAP HCM will be an advantage
  • Ability to analyse business process requirements, general understanding of HR and translate into HRIS system configuration
  • Able to maintain confidentiality in handling of employee data
  • Experience in conducting training, demonstration, and meeting with business users
