Job Description

Our client is a renowned and prestigious luxury goods company specializing in the production and distribution of exceptional wines and spirits.

It represents the essence of craftsmanship, heritage, and elegance in the realm of alcoholic beverages. The company boasts an illustrious portfolio of iconic brands, each with a rich history and a commitment to uncompromising quality.

This role is part of expansion as the company is growing and opening new stores in the region.

 

The role:

 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Project Management Excellence: Lead, plan, and execute retail projects, ensuring meticulous organization and execution under the guidance of the Head of Retail Operations & Education.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee regional retail vendors including Shoppertrak, in-store music, personalization, and supplies, fostering strong partnerships and efficient operations.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive the rollout of regional Retail/Omni initiatives, such as Retail App and clienteling systems, while ensuring a comprehensive cross-functional approach.
  • Retail Conferences: Contribute to the planning and support of retail conferences within the region, enhancing collaboration and knowledge-sharing across markets.
  • Store Maintenance: Collaborate with Store Design team and Retail managers to manage and maintain retail store aesthetics and functionality across the region.
  • Project Documentation: Develop high-quality project initiation documents encompassing objectives, scope, risks, and governance, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Change Management: Skillfully manage changes in project scope, resources, and costs, adhering to established change control processes and technical standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies, prioritizing integrity and sustainability throughout retail operations.
  • Performance Tracking: Design retail performance tools and reports, including Mystery Shopping and Voice of Consumer programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Business Acumen: Lead store audit program to ensure consistent implementation of retail SOPs, and provide insightful quantitative and qualitative performance reporting.

 

The successful candidate must have:

 

  • Proven experience in retail operations and project management in Wine & Spirits, Retail Fashion, Luxury Goods
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with stakeholders and teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project or similar software.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Emphasis on compliance, integrity, and social sustainability.
  • Customer-focused, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced office environment, with regular travel to store locations.
