Head of Trade & Financial Institutional Sales
We are working with our client, a bank to place their Head of Trade & Financial Institutional Sales. The successful candidate will need to service the business needs of their Financial Institution(FI) clients, local and international business units of the bank. The banker will be working across functional boundaries both locally and internationally in driving new business and at the same time maintaining adequate credit space to servicing customer needs.
Establish the Trade sales unit to help intermediate trade and guarantee flows between bank's network countries.
Work on defining the business proposition more deeply along with its organizational and funding resource requirements and its incremental revenue impact.
Own and drive customer acquisition through international branches. Work across business boundaries to achieve success.
Create a value proposition for clients on clearing in selected locations.
Network leveraging to maximize flows from any unit in the international network to other units. Drive and manage delivery of internal services and build internal consensus on the new paradigm.
In line with the above, primary designate for harnessing China related business potential in the FI space.
Convert the leads provided by Head office or any area in a new business stream.
Planning the sales strategy according to target market and wallet sizing to maximize earnings across the bank's customer base.
Convert China Trade corridors into incremental trade business backed by RMB clearing proposition.
Regular calling on key customers directly and or jointly and work on complex trade finance deal structuring and soliciting of pipeline of future flows
Qualification & experience
At least a degree from a reputable accredited university.
Well versed with credit risk and knowledgeable about banking market trends.
Able to effortlessly interact at a senior level, internally and externally, with the ability to develop a share of mind relationships in the market.
Minimum experience 10-15 years of experience, with at least 6-10 years of trade marketing experience.
