Years of Experience
At least 6 - 8 years' of diverse experience in strategic deployment, strategic project management, continuous improvements, development, implementation and maintenance of IT systems, providing leadership, best practices, research, audit and support for first line & second line of defense for End User Computing developments, desktop technologies and trends.
Role and Responsibilities
The EUC Senior Manager/ Manager provides broad guidance and support in the area of enduser computing, desktop technologies competency to the stakeholders on various technical issues and problems relating to endpoint hardware, software dependencies and application to the environment and alignment with the technology roadmap to support organization goals.
You will need to be technically inclined and well-versed in the different desktop tools and methods. You need to be data driven and not take information at face value and verify the information or data received.
You lead and drives initiatives aim at supporting the first line of defense and the second line of defense in the areas of desktop or end point technologies.
You drive and promotes process optimization by identifying areas of improvement opportunity in end user computing support, technology roadmapping with internal and external stakeholders. You respond, documents and resolves audits/ issues/ queries in a timely manner in accordance to operational demands.
You will perform gap analysis for new analysis, fine-tune, creates procedures, deployment promoting alignment with the various stakeholders.
You champion support to streamline and improve through collaboration to pursue end user computing excellence as a shared entity to support the Infrastructure services group and promoting alignment across all the various stakeholders.
You will also determine and propose usage of desktop technologies as an enabler where appropriate to achieve operational efficiency.
You also seek to inform, influence, negotiate, interact, coordinate and facilitate functions in a cross functional teams to ensure that the initiative are delivered consistently across to the various stakeholders.
You actively engage with the stakeholders to understands support issues, audits and requirements, performs ad-hoc root cause analysis, develops best practices, checklists for typical problems and defines methods for issue resolution, prevention amp; artefacts collection to support the stakeholders' operation.
You is able to identify interdependencies when analysing problems and developing creative solutions. You displays a sound judgement when making decisions and demonstrates initiative to act/drive when situation calls for action.
You is required to be on standby with on-call availability, varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. He understands the service level requirements and strives for continuous service improvement by providing quality support to the stakeholders.
