Automotive Cybersecurity Sales Representative Yokohama

Join a global testing and certification organization as a Mobility Division Sales Representative, driving business growth across automotive cybersecurity, functional safety, and vehicle testing services.

In this role, you will work closely with automotive manufacturers and suppliers to provide tailored compliance and safety solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to build expertise in automotive cybersecurity, ISO standards, and mobility technologies while working in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell automotive cybersecurity, functional safety, testing, and type approval services to OEMs and suppliers
• Identify and acquire new customers while expanding existing client accounts
• Understand customer challenges and propose tailored technical solutions
• Plan and execute marketing and business development activities
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with automotive industry clients
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver effective customer solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience
• Proven experience in new business development and account management
• Strong ability to understand customer needs and propose effective solutions
• Experience managing sales pipelines and client relationships

Soft Skills:

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Proactive mindset with strong business development capabilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities

Language Requirements:

• English: Fluent
• Japanese: Fluent

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in automotive industry sales with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity and functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434
• Familiarity with testing, certification, or type approval services
