Join a leading global financial institution as a VP-level Trade Support / Analyst within the middle office. Acting as a central coordinator between front-office trading teams, operational units, and overseas offices, you will ensure accurate trade capture, monitor risk-related metrics, and resolve operational discrepancies. This role provides hands-on exposure to global markets, complex financial products, and cross-border transactions while contributing to process improvements and operational risk reduction.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of trade records in internal systems and correct entries when necessary.
- Monitor daily positions, maturities, and collateral and escalate irregularities promptly.
- Reconcile data mismatches and discrepancies across systems to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze cash flow and accounting implications for new products or trade setups to identify risks.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Coordinate with internal teams and overseas offices to resolve operational issues effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Understanding of investment banking operations.
- Basic proficiency with Excel and office tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong collaborative mindset and communication abilities.
- Logical and structured approach to issue analysis.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent.
- English: Intermediate to Business level.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
