Tokyo HR Performance Evaluation & HR Systems Operations

Join a leading Japanese technology ecosystem company as an HR Evaluation Operations Specialist, supporting daily performance management operations and driving continuous improvements across HR evaluation processes. In this role, you will design and upgrade performance policies, improve HR systems such as Workday, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective evaluation practices. This position plays a critical role in strengthening organizational performance and supporting long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Recommend updates to HR policies and ensure alignment with business needs
- Oversee Workday operations and enhancement activities, including testing and improvement planning
- Design and implement company-wide performance management policies, schedules, and communication plans
- Compile evaluation results, analyze trends, and present summaries to leadership for approval
- Partner with key stakeholders to calculate and process compensation decisions based on performance outcomes
- Manage full-cycle performance operations for affiliated group companies
- Prepare employee guides and documentation, responding to inquiries including English communication when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience in HR or a related field
- Bachelor's degree or above
Soft Skills:
- Strong logical thinking and the ability to structure issues clearly
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with performance management systems or compensation processes
- Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms
