A globally respected leader in testing, inspection, and certification is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to drive hiring strategy in Japan. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will lead the full-cycle recruitment process, partner with department leaders, and support HR operations that align with the company's mission of promoting trust, safety, and sustainability across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid-career roles, from sourcing to onboarding
- Execute hiring plans based on approved headcount across departments
- Coordinate closely with hiring managers and provide regular progress reports
- Manage internal and external recruitment communications and timelines
- Support broader HR operations, including process improvements and system updates
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years in mid-career recruitment with a strong grasp of sourcing, media selection, interview coordination, and closing offers
- Management or team leadership experience preferred
- Basic understanding of Japanese labor laws and HR practices
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Logical thinker with attention to detail and organizational ability
- Experience in cross-functional coordination and operational efficiency
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in HR functions beyond recruitment such as onboarding or process improvement
- Background in multinational environments or consulting industries
