    Join a leading global financial institution as a Senior Trade Finance Sales professional, driving growth within corporate transaction banking. This role focuses on delivering integrated cash management, payments, liquidity, and trade finance solutions to Japanese and multinational corporate clients. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to expand client relationships, grow wallet share, and execute complex trade finance transactions within a strong governance framework.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead senior trade finance sales coverage for Japanese and multinational corporate clients.
    • Originate, structure, and execute trade finance transactions across traditional and structured solutions.
    • Proactively identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to drive revenue and asset growth.
    • Define and execute client strategies to deepen relationships and expand wallet share.
    • Manage key internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated transaction banking solutions.
    • Coordinate closely with risk, legal, and implementation teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
    • Uphold strong governance, risk discipline, and client due diligence standards to protect the franchise.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in global trade finance solutions (8+ years preferred), covering traditional and structured trade products.
    • Strong commercial capability to diagnose client needs and deliver tailored trade and working capital solutions.
    • Solid understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and credit, risk, and regulatory frameworks.
    • Proven ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and executive management.
    Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proactive, commercially driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
    • Sound judgment, high integrity, and a disciplined, risk-aware approach.

    Language Requirements

    • Japanese: Native level
    • English: Intermediate to Business level

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Additional language skills beyond Japanese and English are an advantage.
