Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-touch Japanese equity trades across cash equities and equity swaps for international institutional clients.
- Deliver timely market updates, trade execution support, and investment insights to global investors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international institutional clients through exceptional service and market expertise.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Trading, Research, and Global Markets teams to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Monitor Japanese equity market movements, liquidity, and macroeconomic developments to identify trading opportunities.
- Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and best execution standards.
- Support business growth by identifying new client opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Japanese Equity Sales Trader within an investment bank based in Japan.
- Experience trading Japanese cash equities and equity swaps.
- Exposure to servicing international institutional clients.
- Solid understanding of Japanese equity markets, trading execution, and capital markets.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
