Roles/Responsibilities
- Define and implement the global sales strategy for the assigned customer across regions and product lines, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Drive customer-specific product interests and translate them into business opportunities.
- Monitor competition and market share, gather critical customer information, and share insights with relevant teams such as R&D, Industrial, and Project Management to inform strategy.
- Ensure sales performance aligns with targets, managing the customer's central interface with the product group and maintaining consistency in global pricing.
- Lead global negotiations with customers on business acquisition, productivity, market effects, and other related areas, while driving the sales strategy and supporting the CAA process.
- Promote innovative products, systems, and modules to the customer, and organize events such as Innovation Tech Days in collaboration with Product Marketing and R&D.
- Oversee the development of product knowledge, manage team performance (including KAMs and Sales Administrators), and contribute to recruitment processes.
Required skills
- Ability to define and implement a global sales product strategy for the assigned customer, ensuring coordination across regions and product lines.
- Proven ability to build and maintain deep, senior-level relationships with key decision-makers in customer purchasing, engineering, and marketing organizations.
- Expertise in gathering competitive intelligence, monitoring market share, and sharing critical information with internal teams such as R&D, Project Management, and Quality.
Preferred skills
- Experience in promoting innovative products, modules, and systems, including managing lobbying activities, organizing RFI/RFQs, and coordinating events like Innovation Tech Days.
- Ability to propose and manage sales budgets, challenge targets in the Customer Development Plan (CDP), and ensure consistency in global pricing across regions.
- Strong leadership skills, including managing a team (KAMs, Sales Administrators), ensuring product knowledge, and participating in recruitment processes.
