Senior Consultant - Transaction Due Diligence Advisory

Join a globally recognized professional services firm as a Senior Consultant specializing in Transaction Due Diligence. In this role, you will work on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, supporting clients in evaluating investment opportunities and executing strategic transactions.
You will collaborate with experienced advisors and multinational clients on M&A transactions and deal structuring, gaining exposure to complex cross-border projects while strengthening your expertise in financial analysis and transaction advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, analyzing financial statements and operational performance.
- Support the development of deal structures and transaction strategies for clients involved in mergers and acquisitions.
- Assist with the preparation and review of sale and purchase agreements and transaction documentation.
- Work with senior advisors and clients to provide financial insights and risk assessments during transaction processes.
- Contribute to cross-border M&A projects, collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Certified Public Accountant qualification (Japan CPA or US CPA).
- 4+ years of experience in audit, or experience in financial due diligence, corporate finance, or financial planning within multinational companies.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
Soft Skills:
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skills when evaluating financial and business data.
- Excellent communication ability when working with clients and project teams.
- High level of initiative with the ability to proactively manage and advance project work.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business or intermediate level preferred
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in financial due diligence or transaction advisory within consulting or professional services environments.
- International experience or exposure to cross-border transactions.
