Are you an experienced Securities Operations Specialist looking to advance your career with a leading international investment bank? We are seeking an experienced professional at the Analyst to Assistant Vice President (AVP) level to manage securities settlement, operational risk, and client service across a broad range of financial market products.
Based in Tokyo, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and senior management while supporting critical post-trade operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily securities settlement and back-office operations across multiple financial products and asset classes.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure efficient transaction processing.
- Handle reconciliations, cash movements, corporate actions, and settlement-related activities with a high level of accuracy.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements while maintaining strong operational controls and risk management standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency and system enhancement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with team members to share knowledge and deliver exceptional client service and operational performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience supporting Japanese and international securities settlement across multiple asset classes.
- Strong knowledge of post-trade operations, securities settlement, and investment banking operations.
- Experience handling reconciliations, cash management, corporate actions, and operational risk.
- Familiarity with Japanese financial market practices and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working within a financial institution, investment bank, or securities firm is highly desirable.
