Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily securities and cash settlements within strict market deadlines.
- Investigate and resolve trade and settlement discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform trade verification and booking accuracy checks in internal systems.
- Process corporate actions, income events, and asset servicing activities.
- Conduct reconciliations and control checks to ensure data integrity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in securities operations, settlement, or middle office within financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of equity and/or fixed income settlement processes and post-trade lifecycle.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with global stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks under pressure.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy and risk control.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Business level
