    About the job

    A globally recognized financial technology (FinTech) company is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Director - Banking Solutions to lead business expansion across Japan's banking sector. Based in Tokyo, you will drive enterprise sales of innovative cloud-based SaaS banking platforms, partnering with leading financial institutions to accelerate digital transformation.

    This is a strategic leadership opportunity where you will manage a high-performing client account team, build executive relationships with major banks, and develop long-term commercial strategies that increase market share. If you have a proven background in enterprise software sales, banking technology, SaaS, or financial services, this role offers the chance to influence the future of banking in Japan.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead a regional sales team to win high-value enterprise software and SaaS contracts with major banking and financial institutions.
    • Identify customer challenges and position cloud-based banking solutions that improve operational efficiency and digital transformation.
    • Collaborate with pre-sales consultants, product specialists, and technical engineers to deliver compelling client presentations and product demonstrations.
    • Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and secure executive sponsorship for strategic technology initiatives.
    • Develop and execute long-term account strategies to increase revenue, customer retention, and market penetration.
    • Partner with marketing and alliance teams to strengthen brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
    • Mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team while fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
    • Over 10 years of enterprise software sales experience, including at least 5 years managing large strategic accounts.
    • Proven success selling SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software solutions to banking or financial services organizations.
    • Experience leading, coaching, and developing enterprise sales teams.
    • Strong understanding of banking operations, financial services, cloud technology, and digital transformation initiatives.
    Soft Skills:
    • Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
    • Strategic mindset with exceptional problem-solving and commercial decision-making abilities.
    • Collaborative approach with experience working across international and cross-functional organizations.
    Language Requirements:
    • Japanese: Native level
    • English: Business to Intermediate level

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience working with cloud banking platforms, financial SaaS, or digital banking technologies.
    • Established network within Japanese banks or financial institutions.
    • Experience working in multinational or global technology organizations.
    • Knowledge of enterprise digital transformation and financial technology trends.
