A globally recognized financial analytics and technology company is seeking a Client Renewals and Account Management Associate to join its Tokyo office. In this client-facing role, you will manage a portfolio of existing corporate accounts, strengthen long-term customer relationships, and drive recurring revenue through contract renewals and account growth.
Working closely with business development managers and cross-functional teams, you will deliver exceptional customer service, identify opportunities to expand the adoption of financial data and SaaS solutions, and help clients maximize the value of the company's platforms. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in account management, customer success, client relationship management, or B2B sales within financial services or technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 80 corporate client accounts, focusing on customer retention and long-term relationship management.
- Partner with regional account managers and internal teams to develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Oversee the full contract renewal lifecycle, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with commercial policies.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and customer activity using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Conduct regular client relationship reviews to improve customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
- Participate in account planning sessions and collaborate with colleagues to increase customer engagement and platform adoption.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries while providing a high standard of professional support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Over 6 years of professional experience in B2B sales, account management, customer success, or client relationship management.
- Experience managing corporate client portfolios and contract renewal processes.
- Strong knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce and pipeline management best practices.
- Experience within financial services, fintech, SaaS, or enterprise software environments is highly desirable.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
