A Tier 1 global investment bank is seeking an M&A VP

Roles/Responsibilities

• Lead cross-border M&A transactions, overseeing all aspects of deal execution including negotiation, due diligence, and closure.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investment bankers, and legal advisors to ensure smooth transaction processes.
• Mentor and manage a team of associates and analysts, providing guidance on financial modeling, client interaction, and presentation skills.
• Strategize and execute complex financial structures and arrangements to optimize transaction outcomes and client satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proven expertise in leading and executing M&A transactions, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese (native level) and English (business level), with experience in international and cross-cultural environments.
