Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and directors, ensuring consistent policy application and compliance.
- Lead change management initiatives aligned with global HR frameworks and company transformation goals.
- Partner with senior leaders to design and execute HR strategies that support business objectives and workforce planning.
- Analyze HR metrics and leverage data insights to identify trends and recommend strategic HR interventions.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and leadership development through structured programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure seamless execution of talent, compensation, and performance programs.
- Mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues, promoting an inclusive and high-performing environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner (HRBP) experience within multinational or matrix organizations.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders and COEs to deliver strategic HR solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Workday, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR analytics tools.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities across all organizational levels.
- Analytical mindset with sound judgment and the ability to balance business needs with people priorities.
- Proactive and collaborative approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native-level fluency (required for employee relations and local HR management).
- English: Business-level proficiency (for communication with regional/global teams).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in global or cross-functional HR environments.
- Knowledge of talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement best practices.
- Certification in HR or related disciplines (SHRM, CIPD, etc.) is a plus.
