Haken Product Manager - E-Commerce Platform

This is a high-impact Product Manager role at one of Japan's leading e-commerce platforms, shaping products used by millions of users nationwide. Based in Tokyo, you will drive product innovation by working closely with global and local teams, balancing international strategy with Japan market needs. This role is open only to candidates currently residing in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for core e-commerce features aligned with global objectives and local market requirements
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality product releases
• Act as a bridge between executive stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
• Analyze user feedback and complex data sets to identify issues and translate insights into actionable product requirements
• Manage the full product development lifecycle from discovery and prototyping through launch, optimization, and scaling

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management, ideally within tech or e-commerce
• Proven experience leading complex projects with end-to-end ownership and accountability
• Strong stakeholder management experience across multiple functions

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity
• Proactive and ownership-driven approach to product delivery

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Business level or above (N1 / Native preferred)
• English: Business level or above

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in large-scale Agile or Scrum environments with global teams
• Strong technical understanding of system architecture, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
• Data-driven decision-making skills with experience using SQL, Tableau, or Google Analytics
