Principal Salesforce Developer - E-Commerce Platform Systems

A leading digital services company is seeking a Principal Salesforce Developer to lead Salesforce development for mission-critical internal systems. This role focuses on designing scalable CRM solutions and system integrations that directly improve business efficiency across e-commerce and digital services. You will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams, owning end-to-end Salesforce architecture and delivery in a high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective Salesforce solutions
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex and related technologies
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal and external enterprise systems
- Ensure system stability through testing, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization
- Maintain high standards for security, data integrity, and operational reliability
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform
- Strong practical expertise in Apex development and Salesforce architecture
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems
- Solid understanding of Salesforce operations, maintenance, and best practices
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a high-visibility role with cross-functional collaboration
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience leading engineers or managing technical projects
- Backend development experience (Java, Spring Framework preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
