About the job
Join a global asset management company as an AVP-level Fund Accounting Specialist, where you'll play a key role in NAV (Net Asset Value) calculation oversight and operational management for investment trusts.
You'll work closely with internal and external teams to ensure accurate and efficient fund operations in line with global standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage NAV calculation operations for investment trust funds.
- Oversee and monitor outsourcing partners responsible for NAV computation.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards for fund operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers to maintain operational excellence.
- Provide process improvement suggestions to optimize operational workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fund operations within a trust bank or asset management company.
- Proven expertise in operations related to investment trusts (mutual funds).
- Experience using T-Star or equivalent fund accounting systems.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native (required).
- English: Reading and writing skills required for documentation and communication.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Business-level English speaking ability is a plus.
- Ability to manage relationships with outsourcing vendors and service providers.
- Strong attention to detail and process management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
