Roles/Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients while overseeing the onboarding process from initiation to completion.
- This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates.
- Coordinate the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to streamline onboarding procedures.
- Conduct due diligence on new clients to assess potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Manage and organize client documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Required skills
- Proven experience in client onboarding within the financial industry, preferably within investment banking.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to client onboarding in Japan.
- Strong communication skills - native fluency in Japanese and business fluency in English.
