A rapidly growing global travel technology company is expanding its corporate travel business across Japan and is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate market growth. Key Responsibilities
- Develop new corporate partnerships across Japan, targeting companies with domestic and international business travel needs.
- Build and manage relationships with procurement teams, travel managers, HR departments, administration teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions to introduce corporate travel management solutions and services.
- Identify commercial opportunities and contribute to regional market expansion strategies.
- Maintain and expand long-term client relationships following onboarding to support account growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with regional and international stakeholders on operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Gather market feedback and customer insights to support business planning and product enhancement discussions.
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and account updates using internal systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Experience within corporate travel, travel management, hospitality, MICE, SaaS, business services, or solution-based sales environments is highly preferred.
- Strong experience managing consultative sales processes and building relationships with Japanese corporate clients.
- Experience handling both new business development and account management responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree and over 3 years of professional experience required.
