Based in Tokyo, you will drive business growth across Japan by developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and delivering innovative manufacturing solutions to leading pharmaceutical companies. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries across Japan.
- Manage key customer accounts and build long-term relationships with stakeholders at leading pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Recommend technical machinery and production solutions tailored to customers' operational and manufacturing requirements.
- Lead commercial negotiations, prepare competitive quotations, and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with global teams and technical specialists to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial equipment sales, or machinery sales.
- Proven track record of managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Experience preparing commercial proposals, quotations, and conducting contract negotiations.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product specifications and manufacturing solutions.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout Japan as required.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities in multicultural business environments.
- Adaptable and proactive approach to changing customer needs and market conditions.

- Existing network within the Japanese pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Experience selling capital equipment, industrial machinery, or large-scale production systems.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and industry regulations.
- German language skills would be highly advantageous.
