This position sits within the first line of defense, focusing on third-party risk, supplier oversight, and operational excellence. You will drive initiatives that enhance risk frameworks, compliance, and process optimization across a complex, global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and enhance risk management frameworks, with a focus on third-party governance and controls.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and supplier management processes.
- Provide analytics, reporting, and management information on third-party performance and outsourcing.
- Act as a first-line risk advisor, supporting financial crime, compliance, and governance activities.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to implement risk programs, training, and best practices.
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and ensure internal controls and audit findings are addressed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience in risk management, third-party management, compliance, financial crime, or audit within financial services or complex organizations.
- Proven experience working within risk and control frameworks.
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- High level of professional integrity and accountability.
- Ability to lead process improvement and transformation initiatives.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Business level
- English: Fluent
