Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing business in the Nenagh area to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their Finance team on an initial 6-12-month contract, with a strong potential to become permanent. Roles and Responsibilities
- Support financial aspects of acquisitions, including due diligence, assessment, and integration
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors during transactions
- Review financial data and identify risks or opportunities
- Assist with onboarding finance processes for newly acquired businesses
- Support preparation of legal and transactional documents from a finance perspective
- Contribute to wider financial planning and project initiatives
Job Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience in a finance role, exposure to M&A, audit, or financial due diligence is desirable
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
