This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced finance professional to step into a pivotal Finance Shared Services Manager role within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will lead the Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash & Bank operations across a diverse and international business. This role offers an exciting and varied career path, with exposure to diverse projects and cross-functional collaboration.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the global shared services centre, including third-party and intercompany AP, AR, and Cash & Bank.
- Inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing global AP and AR team, nurturing a collaborative and forward-thinking working culture.
- Partner cross-functionally to streamline and standardise the end-to-end procure-to-pay processes across the Group.
- Lead the team in tracking and delivering on KPIs, driving continuous improvement in the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of outputs.
- Manage delivery of AP, AR, and Cash & Bank month-end close, including revaluations and reconciliations, ensuring Group deadlines are met and supporting wider finance queries.
- Oversee cash forecasting of AP to support strategic funding decisions.
- Approve all payments across Group entities in line with internal controls.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of tasks and resolution of queries.
- Support internal and external audit processes as required.
- Actively contribute to wider finance transformation and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures, including Health & Safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing, geographically distributed teams.
- Experience in a finance operations or shared services role.
- Strong working knowledge of AP & AR processes
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and improve global finance processes.
- Strong understanding of financial systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Resilient, organised, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
