    About the job

    Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and play a key role in shaping and delivering people strategies that support business performance, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, and a positive workplace culture.

Working closely with leaders across our dynamic manufacturing environment, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across employee relations, talent management, organisational development, workforce planning, performance management, change management, and employee engagement.

As a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, you will provide practical and commercially focused HR guidance, ensuring the consistent application of HR policies, employment legislation, and company values while supporting the delivery of business objectives.

You will also use HR data, workforce analytics, and business insights to identify trends, develop solutions, and lead initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, improve employee experience, and enhance operational performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic HR Business Partnering

    • Partner with business leaders to understand business priorities and translate these into effective people strategies and workforce plans.
    • Provide strategic HR advice and solutions that support organisational objectives and operational performance.
    • Use HR metrics, workforce analytics, and business insights to identify trends, provide recommendations, and influence business decision-making.

    Leadership Coaching & Support

    • Act as a trusted HR advisor and coach to leaders, supporting their development and enhancing team and organisational effectiveness.
    • Build leadership capability through coaching, feedback, and guidance on effective people management practices.
    • Support managers in navigating complex people matters and organisational change.

    Employee & Industrial Relations

    • Provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes, performance management, attendance, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
    • Coach managers to confidently and effectively manage employee relations matters while ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
    • Promote positive employee relations and employee engagement across the organisation.
    • Identify emerging ER trends and recommend proactive interventions to minimise risk and improve the employee experience.

    Talent & Organisational Capability

    • Partner with leaders to understand current and future talent requirements and develop effective talent and succession plans.
    • Support recruitment, talent development, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
    • Facilitate talent reviews and provide guidance on performance management and employee development processes.
    • Help build organisational capability by identifying development needs and supporting targeted people initiatives.

    HR Operations & Continuous Improvement

    • Support the effective delivery of core HR processes, including performance management, compensation review cycles, workforce planning, and organisational change.
    • Ensure HR systems and employee data are accurate, well maintained, and managed in accordance with data protection requirements.
    • Lead and contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR service delivery and the employee experience.
    • Develop and deliver training, workshops, and people management programmes as required.

We are looking for an HR professional who combines strong commercial awareness with a hands-on, people-focused approach.

    You will ideally have:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
    • CIPD qualification or membership, or an equivalent professional HR qualification, is desirable but not essential.
    • Proven hands-on HR experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong experience across employee relations, leadership coaching, change management, and employee engagement.
