A leading global travel technology platform is seeking a commercially driven Market Manager to support the expansion of its accommodation partner network across Hokkaido and regional Japan. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with hotels, serviced apartments, villa operators, vacation rentals, and regional property management companies to drive business growth and market presence.
As part of a fast-growing regional expansion team, you will combine business development, account management, and market analysis to help accommodation partners maximize performance on a globally recognized online travel platform. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with accommodation operators and local business partners across the assigned region.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and manage onboarding activities for new accommodation partners.
- Advise partners on strategies to improve booking performance, pricing competitiveness, and platform visibility.
- Monitor local travel market trends, seasonal demand, competitor activity, and pricing movements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and partner satisfaction.
- Manage ongoing communication with assigned partners and provide commercial performance recommendations.
- Support regional market expansion projects and contribute local market insights to business strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of account performance, partnership activities, and commercial progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, hospitality, tourism, OTA, or accommodation-related industries.
- Experience working with hotel groups, serviced apartments, vacation rentals, or property management businesses is highly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage regional territories and prioritize multiple business activities.
- Strong understanding of partner management and commercial relationship building.
- Bachelor's degree and over 3 years of professional experience required.

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive and hands-on working style.
- Confident communicator who enjoys external-facing and client-facing responsibilities.

Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Business to native-level fluency required.
- English: Intermediate to business-level proficiency preferred.
