Technical Project Manager - Workday

Our client is looking for a hands-on Technical Project Manager to play a critical role in a large, complex Workday programme. This role sits at the centre of a highly integrated landscape, helping stabilise, align, and deliver integrations between Workday and a wide range of downstream and legacy platforms.
The organisation operates 35+ platforms, many originally designed around Oracle-based architectures, which do not map cleanly to Workday's data model or integration patterns. Success in this role depends on someone who can go beyond status tracking, someone who understands how integrations actually work end to end and can actively manage technical risk, data alignment, and delivery challenges.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Delivery Manager on complex enterprise programmes.
- Strong hands-on understanding of Workday, ideally across HCM and/or Financials

Solid experience managing Workday integrations, including:

Downstream and upstream systems

Middleware (e.g. Boomi, MuleSoft, Workday Studio, etc.)

Data mappings, transformations, and reconciliation

Able to spot issues early, ask the right technical questions, and challenge assumption. Confident operating in ambiguity and complexity, with a bias toward action and problem-solving
