Senior Project Manager - Business Systems | NSW Government Program

We are partnering with a NSW Government organisation to engage an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a high-profile, business-critical systems project with immovable delivery milestones.

This role will lead the end-to-end delivery of a candidate-facing digital capability, involving enhancement of an existing bespoke application, delivery of a front-end portal, and multiple system integrations. The focus is on business processes and business systems, rather than infrastructure.

You will manage delivery across internal and vendor teams in a hybrid Agile environment, oversee testing and service transition, and operate within a broader enterprise program with strong governance and scrutiny.

Key details

• Daily rate: $750 - $940 + super (ex GST)

• Contract: Through to 30 June 2027

• Location: NSW (hybrid working)

• Environment: Complex, regulated government program with fixed deadlines

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex software and digital projects in government

• Strong vendor, budget, risk and dependency management capability

• Hands-on project controls and governance experience

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills in high-pressure environments

• Must be politically neutral and able to meet probity and criminal record check requirements
