An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a growing international manufacturing business. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the finance function across multiple sites, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and strong commercial support to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly management accounts process, group reporting, and financial analysis.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to drive business performance.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Drive inventory control, product costing, margin analysis, and operational finance improvements.
- Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors and advisors.
- Develop finance systems, improve processes, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven Financial Controller or senior finance experience.
- Strong background within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Experience in management reporting, financial controls, budgeting, cash flow, and costing.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory accounting, and multi-site operations is advantageous.
- Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive leader who enjoys improving processes and developing teams.
