Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Shannon to recruit a Senior Accountant with a treasury focus. This role combines financial accounting, reporting and treasury responsibilities, supporting the finance function through accurate reporting, cash flow management, financial controls and business decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation and external audits.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Manage cash flow reporting, liquidity monitoring and cash forecasting.
- Maintain banking relationships and support treasury transactions, including FX activities.
- Monitor compliance with treasury policies and internal controls.
- Assist with VAT, tax, KYC and other regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements across finance and treasury functions.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualified
- 3-5 years' experience in financial or management accounting.
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
- Treasury, banking, or cash management experience is required.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
