The On-Site Buyer / Planner is responsible for purchasing and order management of MRO engineering parts, ensuring timely deliveries, optimal stock levels, and excellent service performance. The role requires strong coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and the customer to maintain cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Manage the full order cycle from requisition to delivery and follow-up.
Monitor stock levels, forecasts, and supplier performance to ensure supply continuity.
Resolve supplier and invoice queries efficiently.
Analyse product and branch performance, recommending improvements.
Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders and suppliers.
Support aged stock reduction, promotional activities, and process improvements.
Ensure all company and site training is completed on time.
Third-level qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
Several years' experience in a purchasing or planning role.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with ERP systems desirable.
Excellent communication, numeracy, and attention to detail.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong team player with good problem-solving skills.
Comfortable handling multiple systems and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
