Our client is a well-established and market-leading distribution business with a strong national footprint. Due to continued growth and strategic focus on operational excellence, they are seeking a high-calibre Distribution Centre Manager to lead and optimise their South Dublin facility.
This role requires a strong, visible leader with a hands-on management style and deep systems expertise, particularly across SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Provide strong, floor-based leadership across all warehouse operations
Lead, develop, and motivate supervisors and operational teams
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Set clear performance expectations and drive high standards
Oversee all inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and dispatch functions
Ensure service levels and OTIF targets are consistently achieved
Identify and implement operational efficiencies across people, process, and systems
Optimise labour planning and resource allocation
Take full ownership of SAP and WMS performance and utilisation
Ensure system discipline, data integrity, and reporting accuracy
Use performance dashboards and system analytics to drive decision-making
Lead process improvements through enhanced system capability
Drive best-in-class inventory accuracy and stock control
Oversee cycle counts and manage variance investigations
Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions
Reduce shrinkage and improve stock visibility
Develop and track KPIs across productivity, accuracy, service, and cost
Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Manage budgets, labour costs, and operational expenditure
Champion a safety-first culture
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and internal standards
Proven experience as a Distribution Centre Manager / Warehouse Manager within a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership capability with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
Extensive SAP and WMS experience (essential)
Demonstrated success in improving inventory accuracy and operational performance
Strong analytical capability with experience using data to drive efficiencies
Experience managing teams, budgets, and performance frameworks
Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / Six Sigma experience advantageous)
