Our client is a well-established and successful indigenous manufacturing company based in the Mid-West. They are currently looking to recruit a new role into the business. Reporting directly to the company directors, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire business process. This position plays a critical role in coordinating various departments-to align with the company's operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1 Growth
- Responsible for maintaining strong market reputation and customer service.

2 Operations
- Supervise day-to-day activity to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Monitor production schedules and output to meet customer and business demands.
3 Financial & KPI Monitoring
- Work with finance to support budgeting, cost control, and operational forecasting.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output and downtime
4 People Management
- Lead and motivate production and operations teams to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure workforce is properly trained and aligned with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with HR for recruitment, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree educated preferred
Experience
- 7+ years in operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving efficiency improvements.
- Able to focus on long-term growth while managing day-to-day challenges.
- Experience in a similar role or industry or organisation
- Strong business acumen/ commercial awareness
Skills
