Join a dynamic engineering team driving innovation in a high-volume, fully automated manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in optimising production processes, improving equipment performance, and implementing smart technical solutions that boost quality, safety, and efficiency.
Role Description:
- Deliver engineering support across automated manufacturing lines - from design and installation to continuous improvement.
- Lead cost, quality, and technical improvement projects under the site's continuous improvement program.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment and process issues, working cross-functionally with other engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and best-practice guides.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (including audit actions, CAPAs, and equipment validations).
- Support strategic engineering and site initiatives, contributing to long-term operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant engineering role, ideally within a regulated or automated manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Proven ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and validation processes (FDA or similar) is an advantage.
- Occasional travel to vendors or sister sites may be required.
