Overview
An established manufacturing business with a long-standing presence in Limerick is seeking a capable and commercially aware Management Accountant. This role will support senior leadership in making informed operational and strategic decisions through accurate cost analysis and financial insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost base
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify efficiencies, savings opportunities and procurement improvements
- Support inventory management processes, including stock level monitoring and participation in stock takes
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Contribute to internal audit activities and ensure adherence to financial controls
- Provide clear, actionable insights to influence operational decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Professional accounting qualification
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business improvements in previous roles
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
