Marketing Administrator - Pet Division

Role Overview
On behalf of our client, a leading Irish consumer pet brand based in Kilkenny, Morgan McKinley is currently seeking a Marketing Administrator to support the growth and visibility of their expanding Pet Division.
In this role, you will play a key part in managing event logistics, promotional activities, merchandise management, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. Working closely with internal Brand, Digital, and Sales teams, you will help bring the brand to life across multiple touchpoints and regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination & Logistics: Plan and manage logistics for domestic and international events, trade shows, customer activations, and in-store demonstrations. Coordinate stand materials, samples, promotional merchandise, travel/site bookings, and event staffing.
Event Promotion & Marketing: Assist in promoting events across relevant channels while maintaining brand alignment. Support the digital and brand teams with campaign rollouts tied to key trade events and seasonal pushes.
Merchandise & Promotional Management: Oversee merchandise stock, ordering, and distribution. Partner with the Sales team to support trade requirements, promotional initiatives, and point-of-sale setups, ensuring all assets are high quality and delivered on schedule.
Cross-Functional Support: Work daily alongside the Brand Executive and Digital Marketing Executive to maintain cohesive brand messaging. Supply the Sales team with collateral, samples, and promotional materials while contributing to wider team planning and brainstorming.
Requirements & Experience
1-2 years' experience in a similar marketing administration, event coordination, or sales support role.
Experience within FMCG, pet care, or consumer goods (CPG) is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to manage event logistics, trade show setups, or promotional merchandise inventory.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple overlapping projects.
A proactive, hands-on mindset with excellent attention to detail and strong teamwork skills.
Genuine passion for animals and the pet industry.
Full clean driver's license and willingness to travel for events as required.
