About the Client
Our client, a leading bank in Hong Kong, is looking for an experienced (Senior) Development Manager to join their Corporate Banking IT team.
This position is a 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze user requirements, and translate them into functional and system specifications.
- Lead and coordinate development teams to ensure the timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
- Participate in system design, development, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure project goals are met within scope, schedule, and budget.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- 8+ years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Solid experience in system development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage both onshore and offshore teams.
- Hands-on experience in Java or other enterprise-grade development technologies is an advantage.
