Responsibilities
External Communication Responsibilities
- Product Launches: Lead cross-functional campaigns to introduce new products to the market.
- Media Relations: Build relationships with tech, business, and industry journalists for press coverage.
- Public Relations: Write press releases, media kits, and pitch angles for product announcements.
- Executive Visibility: Draft keynote speeches, thought-leadership articles, and talking points for leadership.
- Crisis Management: Develop response strategies for product recalls, security breaches, or negative reviews.
Internal Communication Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Bridge communication between product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
- Employee Engagement: Write company-wide announcements, newsletters, and FAQs regarding product roadmaps.
- All-Hands Planning: Organize presentation content for internal updates and town hall meetings.
- Change Management: Guide staff through major product shifts, rebrands, or organizational restructuring.
- Training Enablement: Create messaging frameworks to help customer support and sales talk about products accurately.
Strategy and Execution
- Messaging Frameworks: Define the core value proposition, positioning, and tone for every product line.
- Metrics Tracking: Measure the impact of communication campaigns using media reach and internal engagement data.
- Agency Management: Direct external PR firms, freelance writers, and creative design agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder
- At least 10 years of communication experience gained from financial services
- Product marketing experience would be a plus
- Fluent Cantonese and English
