Job Title: Sales Director, APAC
Role Summary
The Sales Director, APAC is responsible for driving revenue growth across the Asia Pacific region. This role will lead the regional sales strategy, manage key accounts, oversee sales execution, and build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, results-driven leader with strong commercial acumen, proven leadership experience, and the ability to execute in diverse markets.
Key Responsibilities
- APAC Sales Strategy: Develop and execute the regional sales plan to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage the APAC sales team and/or channel partners to deliver consistent performance.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, build pipeline, and convert leads into long-term revenue.
- Key Account Management: Own relationships with strategic customers and partners; lead major negotiations and renewals.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasting, KPI tracking, and performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, customer success, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs; translate insights into actionable plans.
- Pricing & Contracting: Support pricing strategy and contract negotiations in coordination with legal/finance as needed.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure business operations follow internal policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior/leadership role covering APAC (or comparable region).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and delivering measurable revenue outcomes.
- Commercial Skills: Strong ability in pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and closing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present to senior stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales operations, profitability drivers, and go-to-market execution.
- Travel: Willingness to travel across APAC as required.
