About the Role
Seeking a hands‑on Rewards Manager to lead the regional total rewards strategy and support key HR transformation projects across the Asian operations. This is a regional role with significant travel to Indonesia, Bangladesh, and China, where the successful candidate will partner with local HR and business leaders to design and implement competitive, compliant, and cost‑effective reward programs. The role will play a critical part in ongoing HR system integration and data migration (consolidation) projects, ensuring that rewards data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the new platform. Key Responsibilities
Lead regional salary benchmarking exercises, including job evaluation, market pricing, and salary structure design for all levels.
Design, implement, and manage regional bonus schemes (annual, performance, and project‑based) and management incentive plans.
Review and align local allowances, benefits, and long‑term incentives with regional policy and local regulations.
Act as the rewards subject‑matter expert on HR system integration and data migration (consolidation) projects.
Ensure accurate mapping and cleansing of rewards data (salaries, bonuses, benefits, etc.) into the new HRIS/payroll platform.
Work closely with HRIS, payroll, and data teams to define requirements, test configurations, and support UAT for rewards modules.
Provide expert advice to HR and business leaders in Indonesia, Bangladesh, and China on local reward practices, tax implications, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor reward trends and competitor practices in the region and recommend adjustments to keep the organization competitive.
Prepare clear, data‑driven reports and dashboards on reward metrics (cost, equity, participation, etc.) for senior management.
Spend 50-60% of time on business travel to Indonesia, Bangladesh, and China to support local HR teams, conduct workshops, and ensure consistent reward implementation.
Build strong relationships with local HR, finance, and business leaders to understand local needs while maintaining regional consistency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field; a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPD, CCP, GRP) is a plus.
5-8 years of experience in total rewards / compensation & benefits, preferably in a multinational or regional role.
Proven experience in salary benchmarking, bonus scheme design, and management incentive plans.
Strong experience supporting HR system implementations, data migration, and HRIS/payroll integrations.
Proficiency in reward tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson) and advanced Excel/Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Solid understanding of employment law and reward regulations in at least two of: Indonesia, Bangladesh, and China.
Comfortable with frequent travel (50-60%) across Indonesia, Bangladesh, and China.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels.
