We are looking for a Product Designer to develop innovative bags and accessories from concept to production. The ideal candidate is hands‑on with 3D garment tools and passionate about functional, well-crafted designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop seasonal collections of bags and related accessories (e.g. small leather goods, pouches, charms) from concept, sketch, and 3D mock-up to final specs.
- Create detailed technical drawings, spec sheets and 3D simulations using CLO to support sampling and production.
- Research trends, materials and hardware to propose new shapes, constructions and functionalities aligned with brand direction.
- Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising and sourcing teams to ensure feasibility, cost targets and timelines are met.
- Review samples, provide clear comments and follow through revisions to ensure design intent and quality are achieved.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bag or accessories product design; portfolio must include completed bag projects.
- Proven CLO experience in building 3D bag / soft‑goods models and generating accurate tech packs.
- Solid understanding of bag construction, materials (fabrics, leather, trims) and manufacturing processes.
- Strong visualization and communication skills: hand sketching, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and presentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Degree or diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design or related discipline is preferred.
