Role Overview
Our client, a leading global insurance company, is seeking a high-caliber Senior Sourcing Manager to lead its regional and global procurement categories across Software, Cloud Services, and IT Delivery Solutions.
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement and Sourcing, this centralized role will drive category strategies, complex supplier negotiations, and vendor management to optimize IT spend while supporting business expansion.
Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for software, cloud solutions, and IT services aligned with enterprise goals.

Cost Optimization: Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service levels across IT categories.

Strategic Sourcing & RFPs: Lead high-value RFP processes and vendor negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms and mitigate risk.

Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Compliance, Operations) at local and regional levels to align procurement with business needs.

Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of technology trends, emerging software licensing models, and cloud solutions to inform sourcing decisions.

Performance & Risk Management: Establish and track supplier KPIs/SLAs, manage vendor risk, and ensure compliance with financial sector regulations.

Change Management & Reporting: Facilitate seamless supplier transitions and present sourcing insights to senior leadership.
Candidate Requirements

Experience: 5-7+ years of dedicated IT procurement/sourcing experience, ideally within the FSI sectors.

Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of enterprise software licensing, cloud technologies, and IT service delivery models.

Core Competencies: Proven track record in complex negotiations, category management, stakeholder engagement, and analytical problem-solving.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management practices within regulated financial environments.

Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a strong advantage
