Key Responsibilities

• Handle ocean freight negotiations with shipping lines to secure competitive rates, service contracts, and volume agreements
• Develop and implement comprehensive trade lane strategies while driving broader Product and Trade Development initiatives
• Execute space and allocation management to ensure reliable carrier capacity
• Actively support pricing and sales teams on global tenders and the acquisition of long-term ocean business
• Analyze regional market trends, seasonal fluctuations, and carrier performance to guide strategic procurement decisions

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maritime, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in ocean freight negotiations and maintaining strong relationships with shipping lines.
• Hands-on expertise in space management and carrier capacity planning.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
