Develop compelling content to strengthen the brand, offer editorial assistance for regional marketing and communications, and manage media initiatives.
Lead the creation and implementation of multimedia content strategies, supervise content production, collaborate with internal teams, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
Formulate and execute corporate communication strategies for the AxJ region, fostering relationships with media and prominent financial journalists.
Assist with regional and local events (both internal and external), manage social media channels (such as LinkedIn and YouTube), and perform various administrative tasks.
Coordinate award submissions and management for the region.
Keep abreast of industry trends, evaluate content performance, and align strategies with organizational objectives.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the AVP role.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Journalism, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in a media and communications role within the financial sector, ideally in asset management.
Exceptional command of English, both spoken and written, with a second language preferred.
Proficient in managing corporate social media platforms and video production tools
Significant experience in corporate communications, with strong media relations across local and regional outlets and a solid understanding of media operations.
Good insight into the investment management industry, including investment products, client segments, and competitor analysis.
Ability to work independently as a sole contributor to support the AxJ region.
Experience in event planning, including virtual events (e.g., live webcasts).
SFC license is advantageous.
