QA Engineer, Contract

Responsibilities

• Test front-end and back-end programs on systems including the internal core system, web apps, and mobile applications.
• Create and carry out detailed test plans.
• Evaluate test results and communicate them to developers.
• Partner with the development team to resolve bugs.
• Help conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Deliver support to end-users.
• Join assigned IT project implementations.

Requirements

• Hold a higher diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Possess 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or the software development lifecycle.
• Know basics of Java and at least one front-end programming language.
• Excel in automation testing tools like Postman, K6, Selenium, or Cucumber.
• Have practical experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, Vue, React, Flutter).
• Understand back-end frameworks like Java/Spring Boot (advantageous).
• Grasp SQL for database queries, validation, and integrity checks.
• Demonstrate sharp problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Thrive as a team player with solid communication abilities.
• Command strong written and spoken English and Chinese.
