IT Project Manager, Contract
About the job
Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

Develop and manage project charters, business cases, and end-to-end project plans covering scope, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.

Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to align project deliverables with organizational strategy and manage interdependencies effectively.

Monitor progress through KPI-based reporting across project phases including analysis, design, build, test, and release.

Identify and manage project risks, issues, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to governance, security, and quality standards.

Oversee solution rollouts from proposal to sign-off, ensuring deliverables meet both user and business requirements.

Facilitate handover of solutions to IT support, including preparation and distribution of user documentation and training materials.

Provide guidance and support to project team members and serve as an escalation point for critical issues.

Foster strong stakeholder communication and collaboration across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, ideally within Pharma, Life Sciences, or Healthcare industries.

At least 2 years of experience engaging with senior or top management stakeholders.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and experience managing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.

Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Proven experience coordinating global or cross-regional projects with remote teams.

Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or COBIT are preferred.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft DevOps (CI/CD) and familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA, or equivalent tools.

Awareness of emerging IT trends including AI, machine learning, IoT, or blockchain technologies.
